Can I give my thanks to all the boys and girls who turned up each week and played football to a good level and most importantly they were FAIR.. This season has not been the best with teams finding their feet, but to all YOUR credits I must say you have done The Hawks proud..
The u9s were a new team and I think they were playing very well. The season has ended too soon for them..
u11 7aside (the old u10 reds).. Finished 5 out of 18 in their league. Well done.
u11 11aside...It has been tough for these boys, they were in their first season as a team and thrown into the deep end by the league. The football they have played has improved as the season has gone on..Another well done,, Made it into the semi of the League Cup and lost to the winners.
u11 girls...League Winners...Runners up in the League Cup. Playing good football .. ALL this in their first season.,, but still a fantastic job has been done by players and parents.. played 13 won 12 lost 1 Well done
u13... Another team who have had a tough time this season,,playing teams with BOYS who are bigger than me (I must be getting OLD). Our boys have fought and fought in most games and I THANK them for that.. Next season its all change as the boys know thats NEW PLAYERS and a NEW COACH so the future IS BRIGHT..
Once again all us on the committee thank the players and their supporters for this season
